Sidesplit

Cut the bouncing shapes. Grab the shards they drop.

Bouncing paper shapes fill a toy theatre, and every cut you fire takes one side off until the triangles pop. Each pop flings out a gold shard that raises your multiplier, so the big scores belong to players who dash into the crowd to grab them.

How to play Sidesplit

Press anywhere and drag left or right to slide your pinwheel along the floor. Lift your finger to fire a thread straight up. A quick tap fires where you stand. On a computer, drag with the mouse the same way, or use ← / → and Space. Only one thread can be in the air at a time.

Every cut takes one side off. A heptagon splits into two hexagons, a hexagon into two pentagons, then squares, then triangles. Cutting a triangle pops it. Clear every shape to finish the stage.

Each pop flings out a gold shard. It lands on the floor and fades after 4 seconds. Grab one to raise your multiplier by one step, up to ×6. Go 4 seconds without a grab and it slips back a step.

Cut shapes high and the halves fly up and away. Cut them low and they come down on you. A shape touching your pinwheel costs a heart and resets your multiplier. You have 3 hearts. When the fuse along the top burns out (60 seconds), the shapes speed up.

There are 10 stages, each adding one new thing: paper ledges that stop your thread, wind that pushes shapes and shards, a heptagon, a low ceiling, and a fast gold square whose shards are worth +2.

Scoring: heptagon 10, hexagon 20, pentagon 30, square 40, triangle pop 60, all times your multiplier. Clearing a stage adds 10 points per second left on the fuse, and finishing the run adds 500 for each heart left.

P pauses, M mutes.
