Bloomline

Lay copper pipe ahead of the water. Bring the plant back.

A race against water. Lay copper pipe across the glasshouse floor fast enough to reach the wilting plant before the flood finds an open end, and make the route long enough to count.

How to play Bloomline

Water is about to flow from the brass tank. Lay copper pipe across the glasshouse floor so it reaches the wilting plant before the water catches up with you.

Tap a pipe in your hand (you always hold 3), then tap a square to lay it. Laying a pipe over a dry one replaces it for −20. Pipes with water in them are locked.

The route has to be long enough: the tag on the plant shows how many pipes the water must pass through first. The Route counter lights up when your pipe reaches the plant and is long enough. If the water spills out of an open end, or reaches the plant too early, you lose a life and replay the stage on a new layout. You have 3 lives.

There are 8 stages. Each one needs a longer route, and the water gets a little faster. Planters are fixed straight pipes: run water through one to make it bloom. Grey cobbles block squares. From stage 5 the plant has only 3 copper inlets, and on the last two stages only 2, so the water must arrive through one of them.

When you trust your route, press Flow! to make the water run 4 times faster for bonus points.

Scoring: 50 per pipe the water fills, 100 for each pipe past the target, +25 per pipe during Flow!, +150 per planter bloomed, +100 when water passes through a cross pipe twice, +300 for reviving the plant, and +300 per life left after stage 8.

On a computer, 1 2 3 pick a pipe from your hand, F turns on Flow!, P pauses and M mutes.
