NIGHT EDITION

Set the crossword before the presses roll.

• Tap a square or a clue to pick a word (tap the square again to switch across/down), then type the answer. Each answer gives letters to every word that crosses it.
• Set it cold: a word with none of its letters filled yet pays ×3 and +8 s. A red dot marks every clue that can still go cold.
• A wrong word costs 6 s. Right words add 3 s; a finished page adds more.
• The Headline (the longest word) pays +500 more if you set it cold.
• Proof reveals one letter for −4 s (3 per page), but that word can't go cold any more.
• If the clock runs out you miss a deadline and the page prints itself. Miss 3 and the run ends.
